William Bragg Ewald (b. 1925) was an instructor of English and Humanities at Harvard University from 1951 to 1954. From 1954 to 1956, he was a special assistant at the White House, then assistant to Secretary of the Interior from 1957 to 1961. He joined the Eisenhower administration staff in September, 1954, as a Special Assistant. Ewald researched and wrote presidential speeches and messages under Bryce Harlow.
